DCT began operations as a service and maintenance company and, to this day, our service division provides support to many mining, farming and earthmoving companies.
FOR OVER 50 YEARS...
DCT was first established by Don Clark in 1963 as a service and maintenance to support the local
earthmoving industry. It was Don’s extensive knowledge and experience in the industry, combined with
his high quality of work that built a strong customer base and laid for the foundation for the DCT that
exists today.
In 1984, the DCT business expanded again and this saw the beginning of the parts division which
today consists of a multi-million dollar computer controlled inventory that exceeds 40,000 line items
with warehousing facilities of over 2,850 square metres between our strategically placed warehouses in
Castlereagh and Orange. Our customers range from sole owner/operators to some of the largest
construction and mining companies in the world.
DCT is still family owned and operated to this day with Don’s sons Glenn, Scott and Brett now
managing the business and carrying on the same values and high levels of service that kick started the
business over 55 years ago.
