The GBF Underground Mining Company began in 1988 in the Western Australian Goldfields as a locally owned and operated private underground mining contractor. The founders had a vision to become the Australian Mining Industry’s preferred services provider through continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence in safety, quality, efficiency and client services. From this origin GBF has become a dynamic provider of a range of services to the mining and industrial sectors.GBF continues to have a strong presence in the Western Australian Goldfields and today the GBF group of companies operates a number of mining contracts. Corporate Support is provided from our Perth and Kalgoorlie offices for Human Resources, Health Safety and Environment, Purchasing, Finance and ICT. GBF Mining and Industrial Services providing specialised services across Australia in maintenance, large diameter drilling, shotcreting and remote loader retrieval.
By concentrating on the core business of underground mining and industrial services and providing a safe, reliable and efficient service to their clients GBF have firmly established themselves as leaders in their fields. Across these four companies GBF now employ over 350 staff.
